Unimaginable Children: Honoring the Queer and Gender-Expansive Experiences of New Arrival Youth

Before labels, there are real experiences. Many young people live queer and gender-diverse lives before they even hear the term "LGBTQ+." How can we reflect on the assumptions we hold about the diverse youth we work with? How do we respect their unique cultural experiences and identities, question our colonial ways of categorizing, and recognize every child as imaginable?
